Gut Reaction: What the hell?

Influences: I would have to say "YES." That's just about the only sound that can possibly come close. Let's just say it's easier to describe what they are not, rather than what they are. Although Sean Crisden's voice, sounds a lot like Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish).

Overall: 3/5

High: innovative, deep

Low: I.........don't.....knoooooooooooooooooooooooow..........

Musicality: yes, very musical, indeed.

Lyricality: lackluster

Favorite Track: Not sure here. No one track really sticks out, because the whole cd sort of blends together into one big musical opera.

Review: Well, I think it's safe to say that this group has unquestionable talent. However, I would kind of equate this to any professional sports all-star game - simply putting the best, most talented players together on a team does not necessarily make for the best entertainment. I may call this a "progressive rock venture." These guys are not just musicians, they are artists, in every sense of the meaning.

Would I buy this: No.
